That is a very good suggestion.

However, dealing with the op, it's an interesting question! If someone handed me a mobile phone and said it for you. I'd say, 'To whom am I speaking?'

Not to mention that as soon as you touched the phone, you are liable to leave fingerprints and trace DNA on it.

Think about it. If you were in the airport (about to check in for a flight), and a complete stranger came up and offered you a "departing gift" (contents unknown), would you accept it ?

What have you done, Kerry, to invoke the wrath of Mossad? Never mind, if a stranger handed me a phone at an airport I would be so chuffed that I would present them with a gift for their thoughtfulness - perhaps a nice portable radio-cassette recorder.
