Heard so many good things about Thailand it is untrue. So decided to go there for a month and see for myself, just wondering what I can expect??

Weather? People? Prices? Transport? Anything else you want to add??

Thanks people.

Go to Chaweng for a "Spanish Costa" feeling but then with thai girls, or go to Lamai for a more relaxed atmosphere, friendlier prices, less touting and more "Thainess".

And did you make reservations? It is very busy at that moment.

We know some people from out there, they are finding somewhere for us to stay.

I am from London / UK.

While riding a scooter in floods sounds fun, I will take a 'rain' cheque on that one.. as I like my neck just the way it is.

Thats probably wise :D

Mate you will have a great time. I reckon your first time is always the best

If there is one thing i can say, try not to stay in bed all day, its easier said than done!

Get out and about, do day time stuff as well as the night scene.

If you enjoy your football, head to Bahouse, Lamai, the atmosphere will be good around that time

Other than that, i guess try not to fall in love :o

You will love it :D

I think he means, "Bauhaus". "Bauhaus, located in the center of Lamai on the beach road, is at its best a stompin' club and at its worst hosts only a few tables of the lads there to watch English football. It's usually going strong in high season"
