Anyone know if there are any employment agencies in Phuket area, reason is im looking for a staff member and ive had nothing but bad luck with the ones i find through friends etc. Any help much appreciated.

Staffing is my #1 difficulty. I have my HR girl getting me a list of Phuket staffing agencies this next week and will post for you when she gets that to me.

I beleive the employment office near saphan hin has a list of thais wanting work, contains their cvs photos and expected salaries.

try www.phuketall.com as thats where most thais look online for work in the area. i found many staff there (or should i say they found me?)

On a related note, any advice on how to go about finding a job as a farang?

I speak fluent English & German and have a background in biz admin, can do sales & marketing, client/guest relations, accounting, property mgmt - anything considered.

Not looking to get rich, just to make a living.

May I suggest our Job guru section, it goes out in Thai 3 times a day, 07:50, 12:20 and 18:50.

It's whole purpose is to advertise vacancies to Thai Nationals whereby the employer is usually a falang.

Khun Tue our job guru will manage the translation for you, it appears to work well if you give it a chance.

There is a nominal charge.
