Oh sorry, I thought it was short for chockablocking... :(

Isn't that a description for little kids watching a certain TV programme?

If it is it certainly demonstrates considerably linguistic changes since the days of my youth.

And none of it for the better.... :yohan:

Cheeky Shytes......

NZ wimmin have been world bowls champs so often, we wonder why Brits bother to enter.

Per head of population, 4.5 million, as far as world/olympic champions go, NZ hits well above its weight.

Envy of most nations.

TOO many to put in here.

I think it has something to do with playing the game (skittles actually) while French ships invaded.....they still choke at the memory.

Spanish... -1

Yep......and they didn't invade. Sailed around the country looking for electrical shops to loot. As it was the 1500's and Curry's was closed, they tried to go home and got washed up in Ireland ( a bit like a lot of other boy bands )

OK, Spanish.

It still may have something to do with the British choking whenever they play bowls.

I see that Rocky Elsom has lost the captaincy.

Maybe not the image the Wannabees want to put forward in the RWC.

But he had a dam_n fine try last week. Haven't seen much of Horwill yet.

On a smaller ball game, I see Hilditch got the sack today.

Must admit there has been some fairly amazing section decisions in recent years.

Aus 211/10(46.1) | SL 213/6(47)

SL won by 4 wickets. Man of the match: Malinga, Man of the series: Clarke

Unless and until Cricket Australia get their act together, I'm rapidly losing interest...

Came across this yesterday.....

Cricket Australia CEO James Sutherland today welcomed the Argus Report findings on Australian cricket high performance as a blue print for the future.“We don’t enjoy not being number one at Test cricket,” he said.

The Argus Report was tabled with CA’s Board on Friday and the Board accepted its recommendations for major urgent restructure of elite high performance management’s roles to ensure total focus on performance and clearer accountability for performance.
