Oommie

Let's all wish him a happy birthday. He's 27 today - my age last year.

He has no posts, but he did put a little blurb in his "about me/interests" thingie, which suggets to me that he's maybe a little shy (for quite some time, now).

So pop on over to the link to his name, and add a comment, simple, kind and to the point.

He hasn't been on-line for over 4 years, pretty pointless really, not that I haven't done some pointless things in the past.

Had a quick look at the main board and did notice one thing.

Are you and Tax going to beating each other up again to get the 2 Mil this time.

^ There's no point - it's mine.

Too late, it's already well over 2mil (2,000,217 with this one) ! :o

Yes I know - the 2 millionth was mine. Believe me. :o

Only seems like 'yesterday' we hit the 1 Million!

It would be interesting to know the percentage of those that could be called 'quality posts'. 5% perhaps (one in twenty)? (I have to admit that many of my contributions would have dragged the percentage down significantly!) :o

There have been a lot of smilies under the bridge :D

And a fair few of those posts originated under the bridge, yeah? :o

^ TV quote of the month, Mick! :o

E:T

Pingy - Yip.

Mickey - Yes, and then some. There is an inexhaustible supply, there will be more coming to a forum near you :o

Oommie is a rather peculiar nik. I wonder is it short for Oommiedoodle?

It was actually 18 months ago.

But you're right, it doesn't seem that long ago, and it works out at one post every 48 seconds.

Nothing better to do? Bored?

Why not go out and see if that army patrol is still sitting between you and the border? They may appreciate a nice cuppa.

Oooh ..... Grumpy Bear.

Good thing he's not in Thailand right now, or we'd have to start a new thread and start stalking him too ! :o

There are a number of 'grumpy expats' threads on the go in General! :D

But no "Grumpy Bear" threads (yet) ! :o

If Grumpy was still in Saudi, I could understand (it's getting dame hot here and we are quite a bit north of Saudi). But if Grumpy were in a different country, of a more Asian Persuasion, he wouldn't have (as) much to be grumpy about. :D

It's cos they don't look like happy smiles! :o

How's this one P.gif

I think this is a smiley
