I know it's further south and closer to the equator, but I have not been in Samui around the year (though have been in Pattaya for many years) and was curious how much hotter and/or humid does it get?

Would you say it is the same as Phuket?

And last, which side or area of the island has the best breeze coming off the water?

Pattaya always seems to have little breeze coming in and I know seasonally Samui has a nice amount of wind, but I am unsure about all year round.

Thanks in advance to all. :o

Just got back on the island myself and can confirm it is hot days!! Yesterday morning i had a few beach-hours on the north coast and there was a nice breeze. Gonna try out the east coast today since it also seem to become a really hot day. A bungalow on the beach would be my reccomendation for anyone on holiday right now. "Inland" is VERY hot at the moment!
