Karolina Kurkova Dubbed 'Sexiest Woman In The World'

E! entertainment television has just named supermodel Karolina Kurkova the sexiest woman in the world.

In earning the honor, the Czech-born beauty beat out fellow Victoria's Secret models Gisele Bundchen, Adriana Lima and Heidi Klum, who placed fourth, sixth and seventh on the list, respectively.

"Karolina is flattered to have been named Sexiest Woman in the World by E!" a rep for the model told AccessHollywood.com. "As she delves into the motion picture industry with her upcoming role in 'G.I. Joe,' she appreciates the support E! has given her."

I posted it because "sexiness" is very much a matter of individual opinion.

Women like KK do very little to arouse me. They are pleasant to look at but unobtainable.

It's a bit like you eying off Brad Pitt's buns, eye candy for sure but not really fantasy material... or are they?

Suffice to say, if she was wearing a burqua, you would never know it was Angelina under it (though you might be able to guess if you saw someone in a full length, shapeless, blue burqua with mesh over the eyes, dragging Brad Pitt along by his ear).

As for this list of the world's most beautiful women ? This is just E! sucking up like a pathetic little puppy. Oh wait, that isn't fair to puppies, they don't suck up quite that bad.

Look at the names. Models and Actresses from the gossip columns, many of whom have probably been in E! repeatedly. Sure is one way to suck up and curry favour with the stars eh ? Name them among the top 10 Sexiest in the World. Guaranteed to get a little "face time" next time there is an interview to be had.

Hmmm, anyone of those names Asian ? Any of them current (or even former) Miss Worlds/Universe/anything ?

Pretty much every list is dominated by blondes. Most are actresses (with a few singers and models tossed in). And virtually no one from outside of North America/Europe (I saw one list with Ashiwarya Rai, and one list with Zhang Ziyi).
