Hey, i was just wondering if theres any oil rig workers on here that are gonna be in samui over new year??.

I work in the north sea and am gonna be travelling on my own so would be cool to meet up for a beer or 10!!.

There used to be a few in Lamai when i lived there, all good Lads, all English..

Right well i'll be in lamai, (probably should've mentioned that before eh?), i'll have an ask about when i'm there too, must be some about, can't wait to get to sunny thailand , currently freezing my nuts off north of the shetlands, hoping my chopper on monday isn't bumped!!.

I know some Norwegian bosses on rigs in Singapore, much better paid than in north sea.

There going home to Norway for Christmas to take care of the Ferraris.

Hi I spent about 15 years on the rigs in the North sea and lifting barges around the world as a scaff. Now living here in Thailand, on Samui at the moment. So drop me a line when your here and we can hook for a dive and a beer.

Have to agree Southpeel. The North sea tigers I know would already be Piss@d as a newt by then. Especially the scaffs ! Must be Southern north sea Pussies
