BOFFINS are working on a "sex chip" that can be implanted into the brain to stimulate orgasms.

Women will be able to control it with a hand-held transmitter - enabling them to literally turn themselves "on".

Neurosurgery professor Tipu Aziz, of John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford, said: "There is evidence it will work. A woman with low sex drive was turned into a very sexually active woman."

But he warned it could be ten years before the high-tech female answer to Viagra is available.
