Link

Was in the Andaman islands 9 years ago.

Got thrown out of a guesthouse for knocking on the door to be let in at an anti-social time: quarter to ten! They stay on indian standard time and it gets dark about half past 3.

I have not been to any of the places listed, and yet I consider myself to be a seasoned traveller... :o

Big Corn Island, Nicaragua

... so will this place over do the Coconut Island of Koh Samui

Ive been to Pranburi, Sam Roi Yod, it was very nice. I find it interesting that they are only now calling it an emerging travel destination.

Port Willunga, South Australia!

I'm having a lot of trouble believing an outer suburb of Adelaide is considered a world emerging travel hotspot!

Of course the link quoted is AdelaideNow.com.au. :o:D

I went to Vanuatu in the military. The bounders shot at me !!!!!

If it was biased Semaphore Beach and Alberton Oval would be included.

OK CrowBoy I'll include Glenelg Beach if you come back and play with us again!

None, none and none. I have got to get out a lot more.

Well, if Hua Hin is in Pranburi I've been there. Hurray!

Ok, just checked. Technically, not. dam_n.

I have only been to Pranburi it is a nice developing area, but Port Willunga in South Australia?

Dunno about Port Willunga - I've been to Port Harcourt.

Will that be an emerging pus spot, next?

Pranburi, Thailand

P.S. nice to see "The Dan Sai Kid" once again :o

Looks a bit rocky

I myself and my imaginary friend have been twice to Mombassa and once to Zanzibar the birthplace of the late and great Freddy Murcury and i live in the country where he died - just up the lake in Vevey.

The Rocks are there to protect the coast line from the sea. :D

As for Freddy well say no more, a great singer, Radio Ga Ga to me was the best from the rest "Live Aid 1985" July 13 1985

'The Day Rock and Roll Changed the World'

Queen opening to massive cheers with "Bohemian Rhapsody", and the antics of lead singer Freddie Mercury who got the entire Wembley crowd clapping in unison to "Radio Ga Ga" and "Crazy Little Thing Called Love" before singing along, word-for-word, to "We Will Rock You" and "We Are the Champions". The band's performance, also including "Hammer to Fall", led to Queen's slot being voted in a recent poll (by fans and musicians alike) as the 'Greatest Live Gig Ever'.

Thank you "Patsycat" :o

Yours truly,

Win in Kan :D

I went to Port Willunga in 2002. A customer and traveller friend of mine invited me to his wife's parents place when I was leaving Koh Chang.

I stayed there for a couple of weeks, taking in the start of the Adelaide fringe festival.

There wasn't nought to do in Port Willunga. The houses (at least in the neighbourhood I stayed in) were very nice. I felt like the Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, a guest in a very fancy place. Some beautiful beaches were not in any shortage.

Wilunga must be becoming a world destination!

Apparently Lance Armstrong is riding his bike up a hill there today in the Tour Downunder.

I don't know about "emerging travel hotspots" but I've seen lots of emerging travel wet spots. :o

Twice, but he still finished well back.

Tour finishes tomorrow, I think.
