An angry four-year-old Ohio boy grabbed a gun from a closet and shot his babysitter, US police say.

Nathan Beavers, 18, was hospitalised on Sunday with minor wounds to his arm and side after the shotgun attack. Police say another teenager was also injured.

Witnesses told police the child was angry because Beavers accidentally stepped on his foot.

Beavers was watching the child at a mobile home in Jackson with several other teenagers and several other children.

Jackson County Sheriff John Shashteen says authorities are investigating. The child has not been charged.

While the young master was exercising his own god-given, constitutionally secured and vehemently defended right to bear arms, curiously it would seem he was seeking to infringe upon that very same right of his baby sitter.

Never understood the desire to bear arms....................you'd never play the piano

Bit of an unfortunate surname. I bet Nathan got some stick at school :o

Kid shooting babysitters!?! Why can't they just fall in love and elope to Africa like normal kiddies:

I like the last bit.

"the child has not been charged." :o

Could you imagine a four year old trying to display remorse for his actions in front of a judge and jury? :D

May be there is a need for some training like this:

German computer geeks learn to flirt

Even the most quirky of computer nerds can learn to flirt with finesse thanks to a new flirting course being offered to budding IT engineers at Potsdam University south of Berlin.

The 440 students enrolled in the master's degree course will learn how to write flirtatious text messages and emails, impress people at parties and cope with rejection.

Philip von Senftleben, an author and radio presenter who will teach the course, summed up his job as teaching how to "get someone else's heart beating fast while yours stays calm."

The course, which starts next Monday, is part of the social skills section of the IT course and is designed to ease entry into the world of work.

Students also learn body language, public-speaking, stress management and presentation skills.

"We want to prepare our students with the social skills needed to succeed both in their private life and their work life," said Hans-Joachim Allgaier, a spokesman for the institute at Potsdam University where the course is being offered.

Don't think it would help the residents of a trailer park but .....

Comments from H90 or Raro would be interesting. :o

'4 year old shoots babysitter.' It was at a trailer park, for gawd's sake... The only odd part of the story was that someone in a trailer park could afford to hire a baby sitter.

Maybe the babysitter paid to mind the 4 year old (it is a trailer park)....and he'd just had enough and wasn't gonna to take it anymore.

I think arms training in the States starts at five............The lad just couldn't wait.
