Does anybody know how hard the Tamarind bar was hit on that fateful day?

Was anybody hurt and have they reopened?

They're open. Drove by a couple times yesterday and they were packed. If there was any damage to the premises, it does not show at all. Back in biz. Man are those hamburgers good!

I used to go there several months ago for their friday evening buffet -- have you tried this? Ridiculously low price of, I believe, 100 Baht ... and the steamed fish in some secret, delectable sauce .... even after 4 years here, LOS still comes up with nice surprises.
