i asked that question 2½ years ago but never received an answer. my theory is that neural functions of brains in male Earthlings are still in an early phase of evolution. therefore synaptic patterns which enable logical thinking are far from developed and embryonal male/female cell division has not yet been completed.

Ok..not quite the same thing, but i remember once reading about why lot of online male gamers choose female characters rather than male. It was something I found a bit bizarre. The report enlightened me. As a lot of time is spent running around going from one map zone to another, watching the female characters ass was preferable to most male gamers than watching a male characters ass. (I would also add that most male gamers playing female characters, where they have choice of body stats, usually go for extremely ott boob sizes!)

As for the avatars, maybe its that "way to go mate!" pat-on -the-back-thing that some of the guys seem to love. "Mate, i cant keep my eyes off yir avatar!". Avatar member grins happily over his trophy avatar being a hit with the lads. Like a smokers club? Instant understanding and respect amongst peers. ..?

From my experience most of the ladies of the forum have no fear of flaming in fact they can usually give as good, if not better, than they get.

But you might be correct in that these male members (I use that term loosely) are still in the "hiding behind mother's apron" phase of life and hope that the gentlemen of the forum will afford them some courtesy based on their avatar.

Actually, whilst on the subject, ladies, have you noticed that in Thailand the underwear department ladies are waayy too helpful (in the changing room sense)? Central has a sale on today, so went hunting around. A nice lady helped me hunt out my size and so i went to the changing room with a couple. A short while of being there she asked if the fit was good, but it wasnt quite right. My Thai not good enough to explain what is wrong so opened the door to show her. She came in and after a bit of prodding and pushing she went to look for another one (no problem there), but after she came back she came inside, locked the door, complemented me on my boobs and on the next bra i was wearing, and started to put the new one on me. I smiled and told her no it was ok. I know she was just being helpful, but i dunno, i find it a bit uncomfortable having a woman looking at my boobs and complimenting them! Feels so wrong.
