I wanna lock up some valuables away from my rented room..anyone know a place that rents boxes or a hotel that rents their lock boxes to outsiders?

If you are going to be here for awhile, the banks are pretty cheap for safety deposit boxes. At Siam City Bank, the smallest box is 400 baht a year. There is a 2500 baht key deposit that you get back when you return the keys. I imagine other banks offer similar rates.

Also, CB Lockers Ltd at Gems Tower Bldg.< Charoen Krung Rd.----02 267 4622. More expensive. Can walk from Saphan Taksin BTS if you like to inhalethe effluvia from the traffic.

i have a safe box , at kasikorn bank ..

2000 bht. deposit for key ,

and 600 bht per year box rental.

money well spent ,

safer than your own house ?????????
