Need to change some baht into dollars,

wheres best place to buy some?

The travel agency across the street from Tony's disco, Walking street. Good rates, and they also have lots of ones if you need for places like Laos and Cambodia.

Bank Gold in Rungland off Pattaya Tai usually has the best rates.

They will sell you any currency, no commission, and if they don't have it in stock, you can order it - takes one day max.

If they are not charging any commision, how the h*ll are they making money off the deal ???

Some think they are not doing this as a public service.. :)

Um...... er.......

They buy at one rate and sell at another rate, just like any bank.

The difference is that the rates are better and there are no additional charges or commission that the banks charge.

Clear now?

Bank Gold has always been good, buying or selling, Dollars, Pounds, Euro's, i guess that's why it has been there for years!

Agreed, so maybe not the best rate you can get then ??

I don't know where you're coming from

Bank Gold's rates are better than any bank, AND THEY DON'T CHARGE COMMISSION!

So it's a win win situation. Better rates, and no extra charges.

Got it now??????

Cheers all went to bank gold gave me 34.35 + gots loads small dollars for cambodia

^^ Come on soutpeel. Last word?

^^^^^^^^ Not sure about a travel agent opposite Tony's in WS but just a few yards before that, there's Yenjit Exchange, Travel, Massage (sea side, opposite a Family Mart). Been there for years and when I used them last time, they were the best WS exchange rates. Maybe that's the same place as Jing recommends? I bought houses from the owner over 20 years ago and the service and rates have always been exemplary.
