ILLEGAL DRUGS AND ARMS SWOOP CANADIAN MAN ARRESTED

On 11th July 2009 at 6.00 am, Chonburi police investigator Pol. Lt. Col. Chaigrit Tonginn and his team gave a statement to the Media that they had arrested a Canadian national, Mr. Andrew Donald aged 34, and Miss Anusara Ronpimai aged 24 from Nakornratchsima. Both were found to be in possession of Narcotics.

The evidence included were; White Cocaine 340 gm, Dry Marijuana 61 gm, Wet Marijuana 163 gm, Marijuana Seeds 160 gm, a CZ Hand Gun and an assortment of bullets totalling 245, 2 drug scales, 8000 medicinal capsules, and 7 passports.

Pol. Lt. Col Chaigrit said the police team had been watching the couple for quite some time and learned that they had been supplying drugs to tourists in entertainment places in Pattaya.

According to information received, the suspects had been operating their drug business at the property, 456 / 73 Pratumnak Soi 6, Moo 12. The police team with a warrant issued at the Pattaya Court, searched the house and arrested the couple.

Police also seized their Thai style house which was built in the area of 2 Rai of land, a car, motorbikes and many other Items totaling over 10 million baht.

During the investigation, the couple had offered the police 1 million baht to drop the case in which the money was also seized and the couple charged with bribery.

The couple later confessed to operating a drug business for around three years. They will be charged with possession of narcotics type 1 and 5 and bribing officials.

There is only one thing Mr Andrew Donald can do and it starts by ..."Placing your head between your legs....."

The 245 bullets are the item in that list that are more likely going to end up killing people but he'll get more time for the drugs then them, cocaine deaths are few and far between.

You might notice there are more stories of the BIB not taking bribes lately. Rumour has it a new sheriff is in town with orders from high to make a difference and clean up Dodge.

I do not believe a Canadian would be involved in this sort of business. Canadians just aren't like that.

any drugs issues aside, he is a dog of a man to leave his family worrying about him.

It might have something to do with why he left Canada in a hurry. (Rumour has it it was similar circumstances)

They will certainly be able to keep track of him from now on.

Wonder if this guy read the newspapers yesterday and saw the Australian guy's LIFE SENTENCE!
