September 27, 200916 yr Looking to buy a Bose or similar sound system for my condo. Can anyone make recommendations with price?
September 27, 200916 yr Hi To have an idea on prices, you can check there: http://www.avvalue.co.th/index.php or there http://www.piyanas.com/en/index.php I just bought a pair of Mordaunt-Short carnival1 from Piyanas, very cheap, and unbeatable for that kind of price ( for a very small room though...) Cheers Phil
September 27, 200916 yr My room is SUPER small.. it's my office/computer room, and must not be bigger than 4 sqm ... I use the Carnival with this : http://cgi.ebay.com/HLLY-TAMP-10-Class-T-A...id=p4999.c0.m14 And my Iphone or Wifi radio as a source. I am in Chiang Mai, so I went to my favorite shop here to order the pair of MS Carnival 1, just had to pay an extra 200 bahts for delivery to CM ... My main system is also based on Mordaunt Short's speakers. Good value for money ( at least for me...) Piyanas has several show rooms in Bangkok, look at their website. They also answer mails ( unlike many other websites who don't bother ) and their prices are fair. Cheers. Phil
September 27, 200916 yr They seem to have a range of speaker so should suit any room. http://www.mordauntshort.com/ranges.php?RAID=11
October 3, 200916 yr First thing to decide would be what are you going to be doing, listening to music, watching movies or both. If It's music then there's a lot of other better suited systems, if it's movies then the lack of Blu-Ray on the Bose may put some people off.
October 3, 200916 yr Check out Sonos, sponsor of this forum, if you have your music in digital format or like internet radio. I'm affiliated with the Thai distributor BTW, but still it's the coolest music system around.
January 10, 201016 yr If this is not too late My room also small therefore I use Jamo A 102 HCS5 (distributor available in Thailand) because it's satlite suitable for my limited space and to me it's worth for mooney than Bose
