Looking For A Gym In Khon Kaen

Featured Replies

Hi,

I was wondering if anyone knows if there is a Gym/Fitness center in Khon Kaen somewhere? Somewhere I can pay each time or a monthly membership?

Should have basic Exercise Equipment.

Thanks.

Pulse, about a 100 meters down the soi opposite Fairy Plaza, KFC side.

The pool is 80฿ a visit. Not sure of the gym prices. They do have monthly packages.

There's a place on the East side of the bung, about half way or a little further South. Daily or monthly.

The 3 large hotels, Charon Thani, Kosa and Pullman (Sofitel) all have packages for non guests.

That should give you some places to get started.

Hey,

That's great! Thanks so much!

It's hard to find them online. Would be good if Thai Visa had a directory of these places with maps!

Thanks again.

My friends go to gyms, Im too lazy lol but they use the one on kku campus. Its 40 baht per visit or buy a yearly membership, and they say it has really good equipment. It is close to the food complex next to the traffic light.

I went to the following places and got these prices:

Pulse - 100m down a street Opposite Fairy Plaza

2500 baht per month or 200 a visit

Expensive but very nice facilities with sauna and pool

Probably the best overall Gym with very large exercise rooms for different services

Pullman Hotel

about 2000 baht per month or 250 per visit

Smaller facilities but also very nice with Sauna

Has access to nice swimming pool too

Kosa Hotel

1200 baht per month or 100 per visit

Small but ok facilities with access to outside swimming pool.

Probably the best value for someone on a budget

"The One" Fitness Center (East side of "the bung" (lake)

1000 baht per month or 100 per visit

Big but not so nice and no pool.

Smelt funny in there and had the TV blaring, didn't feel comfortable or professional

Didn't check out the Charon Thani as my girl friend thought it would be similar price to the Pullman Hotel but not as nice.

I think the Charon Thani has a year package for 7500 baht, or two people for 10k.

I saw that on a local KK forum.
