Whats the reason for several innocent posts asking after the success of this event being deleted?

Thanks for asking because I was trying to figure out if I am reading the wrong thread.

Deletion is usually not a good sign.

Yes, I was all up for going along and looking forward to it as I live just north of Kanchanaburi but unfortunately it coincided with a trip back to blighty.

Sounds like it was spectacularly good or spectacularly bad...put us out of our misery.

Whilst this was the first event and there wasnt quite the turnout as expected a great weekend was had by those who attended and there was a generous amount raised for the FFC, donations can still be made thru the DMC website and there are some items that will be auctioned to raise further funds for the FFC.

Thanks for letting us know how it went Baz. Man, with the strange silence I was thinking somebody crashed or something terrible. Glad to hear a generous amounts was raised for the orphans at Moo Baan Dek.

Ride On!

Sorry to hear that folks.

You should have taken a leaf out of these in Jan 2007 and stayed in town, much better than in the middle of nowhere:-

Hi guys. A few pictures from the event.

I personally would like to thank all those who attended and sponsored the event.

I would also like to thank the Xen Hideaway Resort for their tremendous effort in helping get this event ready.

Ok here are a few event pictures courtesy of The Sam Phran Riders from Nakhon Pathom a fantastic group of people, who i'm proud to know.

I agree with what Barry bike has stated. I was told that Burapa Mc was behind us on this event. So having never heard of the www.smca.ob.tc (I'm not an MC type of guy). I have to presume the event was on their website. Any way i hope you enjoy the pictures. As and when more become available i will post.

Thanks Allan

Kan. nice pano picture of the other 2007 Kanch event.

If i had thought of getting a group bike shot we wouldn't have needed as much space, that's for sure.

So what was with the strangely now deleted Drama Queen post going on about how you were 'lost for words' (apparently not) and would leave it for Chris to comment?

So how many turned up?

not very many from what i hear ....i know the exact figure but will refrain from posting it ..........hope things work out better the next time ..at least they will know what areas to improve on for the next event hopefully ...at least they tried anyway so fair play to all for the effort they put in to it..my previous post mentions where most bikers were the same weekend....

I wondered when you would put your oar in.

"So how many turned up?" Well you didn't ya stingy bastard that i know.

I was asked to post some pictures so i did.

The Venue was excellent (bit out of the way) but a beautiful setting, the stage and band were superb. and the people that went enjoyed themselves. So for that the event was a success. The date was wrong for sure. BUT we all live and learn.
