Dvd Not Communicating With Tv

Featured Replies

Hi All,

My DVD seems to have stopped communicating with my TV. It worked perfectly since it was installed, but now when I try to play a DVD I get the message 'no signal' on the TV screen. I have checked all the cables including the HDMI and the yellow red and white and they are plugged in correctly. I have also selected the input from HDMI, so that should be OK. The system is only around 6 months old.

Anyone had a similar problem or can give me any pointers on how to fix this.

Cheers, Rick

Can you borrow a different HDMI cable somewhere, just to check that option.

Otherwise I suggest you visit the local service centre for the DVD.

What brand is it.

Is there a HDMI button on the DVD player, I've seen this sometimes with slightly older players.
