How We Picture Each Other Iooking..

Featured Replies

My therapist advised me to go to the park and hug some trees in order to find some relieve and so I will.

If any of you wants to join, please feel free to send a PM.

We can use each others shoulders to release emotions and discuss the meaning of life.

:D

I'll let you know next time I am in bkk and we can go hug some trees together. Sorry alex, forgot that posting real pictures on the forum is not allowed :)

There aren't any trees left to hug. I cut them all down. :)

that a big coast red cedar yer hooked onto, Ian?

don't see that you got yer corks on or suitable riggin' clothes...the safety man would run yer ass out in a second...

'oh, me an' my Mccullough...'...up in SE Alaska Stihl was the preferred power saw...

didn't I see you in the pub in Prince Rupert about 35 years ago? mebbe that was Bella Coolla...

(tutsi likes to show off that he useta be Pacific NW timber tramp...during his college summer holidays, that is... :D )

a classic photo of the guy in the red hat, btw...lookin' up to see if there's movement so's he could put the saw down and finish the job with his wedges and a sledge hammer...there's nothing so violent and dramatic than seein' big timber go over and hit the ground...

the cutter had a significant downhill slope to consider...looks like Coast range country...also, them big cedars don't grow inland...

jeezuz...them were the days...

To be quite honest, I am glad that you didn't find it!!

Well, this virgin is going out on the town to watch rugby with real men who know how to treat a virgin.... with my wee legs crossed just in case one of them drags me out to his car to do the dirty...

Shall catch up with you later.

^ :) !!

I duno tho' his vocabulary about women sounds like hes centuries old!

I am not usually someone who gets at someone else on these forums, I go with the flow.

But that guy just hit the wrong spot.

That's why i put on my fat feminazi western suit!!

And i think that everybody agrees - the guy is weird and odd and probably has no sexual experience on how women respond.

Probably grunts and turns over too.

I have found him highly amusing myself.

Every time he tries to defend himself he just digs himself in deeper and he is STILL going.

Im going to stay away from that thread now, im quite ashamed of myself!

Why? Just cause you are a "nice" girl most of the time? The guy brought it on himself and acted like a dog with a bone. He wouldn't let go. Some of what he said was true, but in such a stilted fashion it was hard to accept the other stuff. He just couldn't laugh at himself and see the humour in it.

That's a western red HEMLOCK being cut down... and a big one at that. The tree butt I'm sitting on was a Sitka spruce. Both were cut near the northern end of Vancouver Island at Mahatta River camp in 1962. And, I AM wearing my caulk boots (pronounced "cork" boots)

The whole county there was steep, except for a few river bottom valleys. We had to cut the trees so they fell cross ways to the slope. but a few always swung down hill.

Here is me in front of another big spruce.

And up the rigging on a wooden spar tree.

Well and truly worthy of a read. I can't come to a determination as to whether mark45y is not 45y (but playing in an adults' sandpit) or merely has a few loose wires. I think probably the latter. He seems to be intelligent in some respects, but I suspect he didn't have his surge protector in when the lightning struck. If he arrives in the asylum after his next 200 posts, we'll have to break the seal on the padded wing...

need a lottttttttttt of cheering up :)

yeah...lots of brush and steep; typical of the coast...that's some monster spruce butt cut, looks like a one log load...or did you guys useta yard into the water?

never did rig a spar tree but sometimes we had to hang blocks high up in the tail end to get the lines offa the ground...spend the day in the tail end hangin' blocks for each road change; better than settin' chokers... :)

Excellent.

I only saw that thread after it had closed. Some of you guys and gals on that Virgin thread were hilarious.

There were some great threads last week. I had more laughs reading TV than I have ever had before. Sometimes if some abusive idiot doesn't start posting, and the mods watch a thread carefully s oit doesn't get out of hand, they can develop in very amusing and interesting directions.
