does anyone know what the recommended direction to for True Vision's dish to face is? i live in pattaya, if that makes a difference.

The dish will need to point upwards to the West.

The satellites are at 78.5 E, but that is a longitude.

I suggest you get a local installer to come and set it up.

He will have a signal meter to help align the dish for optimum performance,

which is very important, especially in the rainy season.
