Popular Post sometime
Tried burst mode with my little LF1 to try and capture the butterflies without their wings closed, at 10fps it was immediate, 40& 60 took a little too long to write. I think I need a lot more practice.

Mousehound
Dragonfly 1/2000 sec iso 400 P1040232.aJPG.jpg Can I suggest you push your exposure, or use flash. You are getting some great shots - this one and the butterfly actually flying but the pale background makes the subject too dark. Keep these shots coming - they are interesting. Mousehound
Some sort of fly? P1040411.jpg Robber or Assassin Fly. There are thousands of different types and they live on pretty well any insect they can catch: dragonflies, spiders moths and other types of fly. Very aggressive and efficient killers. like many insects it is just as well they are not the size of a horse, otherwise I think we would be in trouble. Well spotted.
