Has anyone ever purchased a central air conditioner. I was thinking of either the 9000 BTU Samsung- LG, or central air unit. I looked at the company Central Air in Pattaya & found all 3 to be 9200-9500 baht + 3000 installation. The aircons sound like a decent price, but I am wondering if anyone has purchased a unit from Central air

You'll probably get many varying opinions on which split air con is the best. Probably what is more important is ensuring your get a properly sized A/C for your residence....too small (i.e., won't cool to your desire) or too big (i.e., too loud, uses more electricity, may not stay on long enough to dehumidify properly, etc) is bad. Of course, also get the highest SEER and Energy efficient ratings possible.

I have 7 York split airs in my home...they are two years old...never had a problem with any of them. Try to ensure a good price (including installation), properly sized for your residence, and high SEER and Energy ratings.
