OldChinaHam
Thanks for that, OCH, takes me back to my days evenings drinking in the Lotus Very good idea. But, may we have more belly dancing around here? I tell you, you are going to love that Aboriginal Girls/Mountain/East Coast video I just submitted. Can't get enough of it I am out of here and heading back east Maybe. Truthfully, I do not believe I can ever get my fill of the belly dancing and music. The music I especially have loved it. I believe they had belly dancing in Bahrain. 40 years ago, the good stuff. How did you find this one? She is actually quite stunning. OldChinaHam
If you are a Red Blooded (or cold blooded?) Upstanding American Even if you are not, You will get a shiver up and down your spine Watching these College Kids play Copeland's Classic Symphony Number 3 Gee, Do American Kids really look like THAT, now? Maybe it is safe to go back in the water After all. Forget it I've got a fear of Flying HEY! DIG THAT HOT CHICK ON THE BIG DRUM AT ABOUT 7:15 or so. HOT DIGGITY DOG Here She's Comin' Again, at 7:11 (You know, I bet she could really lay-into you with a few good wallops if you asked her to. And the black garb of the students? Reminds me of some of that long skirted stuff I used to see when I was in Japan. There is something about a Japanese student with a long black skirt that makes them seem more studious, if they have black rimmed glasses to match. In the US ages ago, there was a time when we had the mini- the midi- and the maxi-, but some of us on the crew team had all three.) OldChinaHam
If Taiwan Aboriginal music is your bag, And you are being serious and not just pulling my leg, Then: Press My Like Button No, do NOT do that, please go to this YouTube link for the above music, (I am trying to post just the link without the video, but doing a p poor job of it) (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0okzIV9jCtw&feature=player_ embedded) It is rather beautiful, isn't it? I actually come from the place you see in the video, with the motorbikes and the ocean. Plenty of Aboriginal People, ShanDiRen, YuanZhuMin hanging around my house, all the time. They like to cook down on the beach until dawn, then when they are done, They come up to my place for a hose down outside, And to clean their pot Truly very friendly people, and great natural divers Too much to tell, and do not want to bore here. Here is the description on the video: "This is Taiwanese Aboriginal music the artist is Samingad."Samingad's chinese name is 紀曉君Also check out Hoaenjiajia 浩恩家家曉君and 家家are sisters. They are quite popular now" If you like, and you are SERIOUS and not funning the FonMan I will be happy to use my considerable Chinese skills and maybe post more, IF you throw me a few likes, LIKE you do with your dog at home. NOTE: HERE IS THE REALLY NICE GUY, NOT LIKE ME, WHO ORIGINALLY POSTED THE VIDEO AND MUSIC YOU LIKE. DON'T LIKE ME, PLS LIKE HIM on his YouTube comment section and I guess you could contact him, BETTER his wife, too, she is cute, and you could ask him about this type of music, or motorbike way up in the mountains in Taiwan, pretty cool, baby. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dZGbUG4A2Mc&list=SPAE9F2D85284572BB This guy's Chinese pronunciation is the pits. rgs2001uk
OCH, is this obscure enough? Another poor departed soul, I saw The Mighty Ted at the T&C club, one of the best gigs I ever saw. Another from the great man,
rgs2001uk
Ok this one was so obscure it took me a while to track it down. My American friends from the SE introduced me to this lot, one of those you need to be down south to appreciate, listening to it here, it just doesnt sound the same.
