mikejphuket Posted August 23, 2010 Posted August 23, 2010 This was briefly discussed in Mach this year. Anyone know of where in Thailand to buy speaker selector box? I tried Piyanas with no luck.
petertucker48 Posted August 24, 2010 Posted August 24, 2010 Hi, I have a 4 way input selector box, HiFI quality, just means your speaker leads will need Quality Phono plugs. The Output becomes the input etc
mikejphuket Posted August 24, 2010 Author Posted August 24, 2010 Hi Peter, Thanks for that. The box I am looking for has individual volume controls as well. astral Posted August 25, 2010 Posted August 25, 2010 That photo looks more like a box for selecting multiple inputs to a stereo amp rather than switching speaker outputs? The use of rca connectors reinforces that view. Not to say that it will not work for speakers, but if there are any active components inside, they may not survive the voltage and current sent to a speaker.
stgrhe Posted August 26, 2010 Posted August 26, 2010 The British company Beresford Media & Electronics Ltd. has a 2-way speaker selector switch they call TC-7220. It is apparently out of stock for the moment. http://www.beresford.me/products/products.html
