Transport Office

Does anyone know where the nearest transport office to Koh Chang is for issuing driving licences?

Is there one in Trat?

If so does anyone know the address / phone number?

There could be one in Trat, I don't know. But there's definitely one in Rayong, so if you need directions to that one, let me know and I can give both written directions and a Google map.

There's one in Trat. It's outside the centre of town - about 1km to the southeast but off the main road.

Heading out of the town centre towards Laem Ngop there's a turning on the left about 400 m before the Shell gas station. Follow that road. Keep going straight, past a left turn. The office on the left are the Transport Dept. The road does a dead end here. Around this area is a sprawl of various govt offices.

Can take a driving test here - or easier still just buy a license discreetly.

No idea of address or phone number though. Directory inquiries should be able to help with the number.

Already have a license - well did have till i lost it, i'm just after a replacement!
