I've got a program call the divx undle which is very simple but it don't have the options to really compress like i see stuff like star trek enterprise and some movies compressed to.

42 minutes compressed to 80mb and good quality.

Check out Auto Gordian Knot. You can specify the resulting file size you want and it will mess around with the compression settings to make it happen. I use it to resize and compress DVDs to watch on my PDA. Just experiment with different file sizes until you find a size/quality compromise you are happy with.

fairusewizard www.fairusewizard.com , I use it to compress movies to watch on my PDA - free for making files up to 700meg in size. by default it produces Xvid files but if you have the divX codecs on your comp you can use them ( both MPEG4 codecs )

I make 90min DVDs at 640x512 size to 500 meg for my axim X50V.
