Does Tot Use Pppoe Or Pppoa On Adsl ?

Featured Replies

Hi everyone,

I want to buy a new Wireless -G Broadband Router, and I have found one from Linksys, the WRT54GS.

Link: http://www.linksys.com

this router is using the PPPoE protocol.

When I move to Thailand, I will be having an ADSL connection from TOT in Khon Kaen.

Can I use this router on TOT ADSL ?

North :o

TOT's ADSL is, AFAIK, PPPoE.

TA uses mostly PPPoE, with some PPPoA.

Why not get one that supports both?

If you're coming from the US, be aware that the US uses 110V power, and Thailand uses 220V power.

I don't know about Khon Kaen, but in Pattaya I have an ADSL connection with a router using PPPoE protocol.
