Nice Routes Around Phuket?

Featured Replies

Havnt been livin here to long, and mostly driving on the small roads kamala -> kata.

Anyone got tips of some nice routes down here in phuket?

there are some nice rides up around Ao Po with great views with up/down/winding roads but not particularly good for going fast as the roads are in quite poor condition. there is also a great ride from surin up the airport area around nai thon..i think the road is #4018 or something

best rides are definitely off the island up around Phang Nga. there are quite a few roads that go up country behind Nga town and lead up towards khao Lak. these roads are really good and quite fast but it always seems to rain up there no matter what the day looks like in phuket.

Agree the Po bay ride is a good one.

Heading north turn right at Heroines monument and ride along the 4027.

Po Bay has a nice marina and a restaurant that is not over priced and the food good.

From there you can take the 4007 then the 6012.They will take you around the north eastern tip of the island. Then onto and back down the main road past the airport.

Ton Sai waterfall is on,or just off the 4027 too,but you have to pay to get in there.

enjoy
