did you get the KFC question right

They probably interviewed hundreds of people before they struck on the idea of moving their interviews to outside the trailer/caravan park that houses the local sheltered workshop mob. No normal people are as stupid as those. Really, honestly...

Most the people on here are.........

I am getting a little confused about the Israeli-Palestine thing, which ones are throwing rocks?

Each and every day I am amused/disenchanted and down right flabberghasted by simple things that people do not know and almost in the same breath/actions amazed at what these same people are capable of and help me in the same comparative manner.

I remember the council estate......shudder.....I have to visit some of the family at New Year.....:o

Not confined to the US sadly.

EDIT: Sorry was replying to the OP....hic.....!

I want to know how so many of them got away from their handlers.

Easy to find stupid people everywhere, I just find it amusing that so many of the people throwing stones live in very glass houses.

Ever seen " Are you smarter than a Fifth Grader" ?. Some of the contestants make that lot seem smart. From " professors" down, I am always amazed at the complete lack of knowledge of the average member of the master race when it comes to world geography or world history...........

OMG.

God save America.......

These people are allowed to vote for their ruling representatives.

Amazing.

Yes, and to be honest some of that can be forgiven, some of it, I was taught stuff at school that I have since forgotten, my knowledge of English history now would be quite shocking, as I have never needed to remember it.

But, when someone knows that KFC stands for Kentucky Fried Chicken, but then can't work out which state it comes from...... that is stupidity.

Wikipedia is my friend, and my principal cause of time wasting.

My English and Western European history was always pretty good, mainly because I'm interested it, but since I started using Wiki, I've learned a lot more of the obscure stuff. South American countries after the Spanish/Portuguese are fascinating. How many people knew Brazil had a couple of Emperors?

I tried to watch it once or twice on cable in Saudi - there was very little else to do - but the atrocious acting by the contestants made me turn the TV off. It is really one of the worst programmes I have ever seen, yet these overseas cable operators pick it for prime time viewing. Are the other US programmes so bad that this rubbish rates high marks in the ratings battle?

But then I avoid things like "..... Idol" (add whichever country you wish); "Lost"; "The Great Race"; "Big Brother" and so on - all programmes that play to the lowest common denominators of taste and intelligence.

One thing about living abroad - one has fond memories of programmes from yesteryear, where the viewer was expected to appreciate the intellectual capacity of the presenters and to open up new pathways in the mind.

Yes, I miss Crossroads as well.

Obviously.

Oh, my God, we have posting from beyond the grave!

Good one.

So WHO is buried in Grant's tomb?

UG?

Wrong, his wife is buried in there too.

UG's wife, wow

And where's the Berlin Wall?

I was trying to decide if it was in Germany, then I thought about the other side of the wall, then I started to Imagine this was a trick question, so I came up with the final answer of Tokyo.

howd eye go?

It's a trick question. A " Berlin" is a cake and the " Wall" refers to Max Wall............ MaxIMUM...The Imum is a sweaty bloke with a camel, so the obvious answer is Exeter .

I thought 'Berlin' was a band. An American rock or some freaky pop band or something. I assumed they might also have a wall somewhere?

Now you are just being silly Suiging, as usual :jap:

Silly is as silly does...........Just look above and you'll see Exeter, is by far the most popular answer.....Who's silly now eh !!!
