Just curious about usage patterns.

Decided not to get technical about this as far as upload/download statistics per day and also not asking about what kinds of torrents.

I voted 'occasionally'. I down loaded 2 torrents yesterday and that was the first time in a month.

I expect the great majority of responses/votes will only be from torrent users of some degree. Most others who don't use torrents or know little to nothing about them will just skip over this topic.

Somethng running every night, during my un-capped time,

plus a seedbox to keep the ratios up.

For me it depends mostly on the US television season. At most I will run 7/8 torrents per week for US tv shows. Most of the shows I like are on break until the new season, so maybe I will download something once or twice a week.

i use eztv.it amongst others

some great bbc stuff on now

top gear is back as well

I use Torrents every day

Now that we only have local channels on our TV, I download UK TV programs during the day to watch in the evenings.

:D

One more thing, once you become accustomed to watching downloads with the commercials cut, you will go crazy when watching a full US broadcast of an hour show. A one hour episode is actually about 41-42 minutes of show and 18-19 minutes of commercials. Last week I watched a stream of a US channel and it drove me nuts with a commercial break every 7-8 minutes. That cannot be good for the attention span.

I don't have True Cable TV anymore.....I pick and choose what I want to watch, by going to EZTV.

Sooooo true :whistling: Torrents are running most of the time to watch running series or 1/2 years old movies WITHOUT commercial!!!!
