I just saw that a new 250cc off-road motorcycle is available in Thailand, it costs 69,000 baht (and the distributor offer 3,000 baht discount to early buyers)

Saw some at Big C last Saturday... my wife knowing I had an affinity for dirt bikes pointed it out with me. There was also an ATV for sale for 100K+ plus.

Did a quick visual inspection, not really impressed with the build quality (the plastic parts looked cheap).

I wonder if one could put lights and mirrors on it and make it street-legal. I'd rather ride something like that instead of one of the standard little mopeds.

The price is certainly attractive, but then again, I guess you get what you pay for. I wonder about getting it fixed if it breaks too.

I maybe wrong.....but I have never seen a service department at Big C (Extra). Or an electronics repair department. Which leads me to ask; where do you take stuff you bought there to get repaired?

I guess they will get the trolley boy to fix it, you get what you pay for
