A suggestion as I do not have a personal recommendation. I think you are near Pattaya so look up the Pattaya Sports Club list of golfing societies, give a couple of the main guys a call and ask if they can recommend anybody. The two main guys at Outback are very knowledgable. Once you have these check them out as you would any rec. The other option is to try a couple of the golf shops and driving ranges.

Hmm.... You can look at this chap - Andrew Knott

http://www.perfectswingasia.com/

He teaches at Bangkok Golf Club at Tiwanon Road, I went for one of his private golf clinics which was conducted like 3 hours a day for 2.5 days straight (which meant I stayed there for 2.5 days) and at the end of it all, I was hammering balls and was confident enough to head out to the 18 hole with my mid-handicapper peers.

Of course, I had earlier took basic lessons at a driving range by a local Thai pro who taught me the basics but I thought Andrew would bring my skills up a notch so after I felt I'd mastered the basics, I approached him for his help to bring my skills up a notch.

He conducts basic beginner lessons too.
