Wonder Woman of course! How awesome is the costume? She carries a whip. Need I say more?

And not only does she get to wear a tiara but its a weapon as well! Kicking ass and looking great while she is doing it!

Ironman was the coolest recent movie in terms of gadgets, special effects and the main central hero character. The Dark Knight was probably a better movie all round, but Batman's not as cool as Ironman. Superman, though, has by far the best super powers, being able to do pretty much anything and being completely indestructible. So he gets my vote.

Well, I was going to vote for 'Thing', but then I noticed the option was THE Thing. More than just a handful of fingers and a mini cart?

I'm seeing an ad for Spongebob Squarepants. Surely a hero to many of the posters on here....

howzabout super anti-heros?...those Dick Tracy villains come to mind and I was enthralled when I was a kid...Dick Tracy was such a square, maybe that's why he was always drawn with angular features...

I was a big fan of the old English boys comics when I was a kid.

I found some of the old Dan Dare comic strips on the 'net the other day.

I believe Roy of the Rovers is still around... boy, he must be getting on.
