I'm yet to see one being driven on the roads, while I've seen quite a few Rangers ;-) yep drove one..also they have another shop about 2k away where I drove the freestyle..both 2.2l ...seem to fly and sooo quiet compared with our B250....nice trucks...now if we can just get ours delivered I will get off this bloody forum and tour Thailand...lol Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Could have had it same day had I wanted 4WD. I did the same with Toyota, ordered first week of March and pick up friday also! Mine is a 4X4, G model,AT, and actually wormed a bunch of free goodies out of them. I had a Wildtrack on oreder since show, but gave up, and Mazda gave me runaround as well for a 4X4 at the time, so back to the "Yoda", and white was 10,000 baht less so no more waiting! I'm guessing the 2.2 isnt any faster than the outgoing 2.5, because its bound to be heavier and the power increase isnt that dramatic. And what about the 3.2? I hear people considering about problems with parts... i think have nothing to do at all... they sell the 3.2 in the ford and mazda like hot cakes... and they making more money on that over there... we have to wait whats not bad that even small mistakes get sorted out... From youtube videos, 0-100 for the 3.2 seems to be 11 seconds or so. Not too shabby!! But others post that the 2.2 feels almost as quick. It seems the 3.2 has the torque advantage for hauling heavy weights. It's just sad many of the goodies of the mythical wildtrak 3.2 are not in lower spec 2.2 models. Big Guns Posted March 24, 2012 Share Posted March 24, 2012 I've just returned from Mazda Rayong where my wife was test driving the Mazda 3. I had a look at a 4x4 4 door BT 50. It looks fantastic inside. If the wife goes for the Mazda 3 I'll consider the BT50 when I change the D-Max next year. The dealer had at least 1 black BT 50 4x4 Auto.
