Electrician / Plumber Wanted

Featured Replies

Hello All

I'm not sure if i need an electrician or a plumber, but i have two jobs that need doing at my condo in Pratumnak Hill.

(1) The Panasonic water heater in my unit needs replacing as the old one's packed up - I need a new water heater. And ...

(2) The actuall building needs someone or a company to assess and repair the water pumps on the roof. They are noisy and keeping residents awake at night with their electrical whine and thud, thudding. They've had (apparantley) 5 people out already and each one says there's nothing wrong with them. Rubbish, something's amiss for sure and the noise is making several residents miserable.

I'll not quibble on cost - if you're good you're probably quite pricy - I'd prefer 'Euro standard' if possible, get it done properly first time 'round.

Anyway, thanks in advance for your responses.

Haley

For the water heater you could just go to Home Pro, Home Works or similar who have lots of choice at different prices. They should also be able to offer installation at a very resonable price especially if it is effectively just replacing what is already there. Not sure how good they will be in making sure it is safe however so maybe try the guy below.

Khun Ek used to get lots of recommendations on here and I used him for some electrical/plumbing work and was very satisfied. He can be contacted on -

089 9817 189 - but he can get very booked up.

Def use home pro or home works for the water heater purchase - they usually offer to install for 500baht if it's not far from the shop. Good jobs for me in Phuket and Bangkok.

If you use HomePro's 'free'/cheap install service, suggest you make sure that whichever contractor they send out to do the job uses the right size cable for your water heater (check the manual). I've caught them twice trying to cut costs by using smaller size cable than they really should.

Thanks for your replies - I do appreciate it! I'll also definitely be giving Khun Ek a call too.

Appreciated, gents.
