According to the Chiang Mai Night Safari, a four-year old Bengal tiger delivered three female tiger cubs on May 10th, and a week later, on May 17th, a six-year old panther delivered one male and one female cubs . All five healthy tiger cubs were introduced to zoo visitors on Sunday. The zookeeper said their mothers refuse to feed their newborns, so the zoo officials have to separate the babies from their mothers to prevent the babies being attacked. The officials have been feeding and taking care of them. The Chiang Mai Night Safari has established a breeding project for many different types of endangered wild animals and will continue breeding more to prevent these animals from extinction. -- NNT 2012-05-21
