Doing the visa run tomo, was wondering if there is a Burmese style g.house near the border?

Also is the Golden triangle a long way from the border?

If that's guest house then I can't say I've seen anything other than the stock standard offering in MaeSai.

The Golden Triangle is only a short drive from MaeSai but actually right on the border of three countries.

If you're going from MaeSai the roadworks are a pain in the butt.

Was there a few weeks ago. Worth the trip. And there are many resorts there not sure about Burmese.

If you stick to the main highway between Chiang Rai and MaeSai you won't see them.
