Good to know. My wife is getting dental work done in the states. She says she got xrays at the local govt hospital, but they apparently didn't treat several easily identified cavities. I will want a good private dentist when we return to CR. I'm also interested in knowing what the basic costs run - xray, filling, cleanings etc.

Go north on the superhighway, just before Bandu market there are a few banks (SCB, BKK Bank), park here and on the opposite side there is a very good dentist, trained in OZ and good English.

Sent from my GT-I9003 using Thaivisa Connect App

This could be Dr. Wanpaya clinic at U-tern before Bandu market on the right hand side (Market is on the left)

any idea how much for the filling?

It depends on which one you choose (Government hospital or Private hospital or Dental Clinic). What I know at the dental clinic is 400 baht/filling.
