I don't know but it is a void that needs filling and will cost, too many chances lost this season by people that just cannot put the final touch and score, like I said above - we have a handful of nearly scorers

If he wants an out and out mercenary Higuiain is the answer but definitely gotta be an experienced head in the mould of Zlatan.

Playing 2 up front as twin strikers could do it. Martial and Rashford are natural centre forwards. Rashford has developed a hard edge into his game and defenders will not like playing against him.

Lads it's Martial not Marshall.

Good win half the job done, lindgard needs to watch some vids  of Ronaldo  and learn how to finish and if he can master scoring he will be some player.

I don't like slagging off our own players, they are all contributing in their own way.

That's ok i'll slag em off for ya.

Lingaard - needs a move to Newcastle

Blind - retirement beckons

Martial - deadly start but confidence shot to bits

Herrera - decent but not a top player

Mata - only scores when you lose

Ashley young - still scratching my head

Rooney - doubt he is a positive effect on moral and as he's a top earner and now minimalist contributor its odd he has not been discarded in a manner like Roy keame staam etc. Merchandise/licensing sales must be playing a part.

Not  top 4 in the Premier league but I guess it doesn't matter now , you'll win the final and get the glory again  .  See you in CL next year

Herrera, with the exception of Zlatan has been their player of the season.  He is proving to be a very good player.

Shining brightly under dim lights does not mean he's good. It's the manager that pushes them forwards and is stopping the rot.

His seasons stats suggest otherwise.  Playing well is not necessarily easier when others around you are not.  And as far as the managers concerned, underwhelming rather than pushing them forward would be the view of many.  So we'll have to agree to disagree.

Rooney is a prime example.

Rooney has been fantastic for us, but sadly his genetics are catching up, he looks slow and unfit.

Compare his physic with Ronaldo their is no comparison, I like Rooney and he has carried us in the past but sadly I can see this being his last season for us.

Well said, in fact I saw a meme about his stats against Kante and he was better in nearly all, I was quiet surprised.

I think he'll be there to see out his contract.

I'd suggest he's easily been in the top five best performing midfielders in the league this season which is also indicative as to how few goals you have conceded.  He's starting to look like the players other fans don't like but would like in their team!

I'm sure you will enjoy coming to the Lane and playing for a 0-0 draw Peter.

Personally I will be howling with laughter as we take you apart and then watch Mourinho bring on Rooney to try to salvage the game.

It only works on poor teams that tactic, you think you'd have got the memo from old red noae.

I don,t wear blinkers, look through past comments on this forum from me praising and acknowledging clubs that have won honours throughout my lifetime, the blinkers appear when twerps come on the united forum posting comments that arise solely from their jealousy of our success throughout the years.

While I,m here I would like to add my commiserations to the Spurs fans on here for another fruitless season in terms of winning trophies........hate to say "I told you so" but there it goes...........again.

You have played at times, especially at home, some wonderful football but its all been for nothing

Now then Ronnie,I don,t quite know where you have sprung up from to comment on my reply to carmine  however as you have I will reply to your rather foolish statement.

"personally I will be howling with laughter as we take you apart" pity Ronnie you made this comment before last nights defeat at West Ham  as now I,m the one that is laughing :cheesy:

Whether you "take us apart" or not your season is over, once again Tottenham have won fark all :clap2:

Let,s look at your season, firstly I must acknowledge that you have enjoyed the best home record for over 50 years and well done, some of your football has been a joy to watch...no question

At the end of the day the stats show this....

Your season started with competing in the greatest prize of all the European Champions League,result.......eliminated during the group stages.

You then received a reprieve by dropping down to the Europa Cup only to be eliminated once again.

You were eliminated in the domestic League Cup,however you did well to reach the sem-final of the FA Cup only to set a new record, the record being losing SEVEN consecutive FA Cup semis.failure again.

It does now look as if Spurs will finish runners up to Chelsea in the Premiership, and well done for that, however no silverware is given for coming second :whistling:

BUT and this is a big BUT for you spuds fans, for the first time in 25 years you have finished above your north London rivals Arsenal....congratulations as this is the only consolation you can take from the 2016/17 Premiership season.

Please feel free to come back on this United forum and criticise our club the next time you have some silverware to show off

In my advancing years make it quick :cheesy:

Now looks like Spurs will have nothing to play for but still an important game for ManU's parked bus.

How did you feel when you're greatest ever player, Terry Henry says were not Spursy?

Carmine loves to "dish it out" BB and thats fine, however when the shoe is on the other foot that is a completely different matter :whistling:

He spends almost as much time on this United forum slagging off whatever is going on at OT as he does on his beloved spuds forum,he gets more enjoyment from United losing than the spuds winning...fact....we United fans are used to this as there are plenty more carmines out there, its all about being successful if we wern,t successful no one would bother,to put it bluntly its called jealousy....

If in my summing up of Spurs season I have made any mistakes then I am happy to be corrected.

To the Spurs club I wish all the best in the future at your new ground,I hope that the football and traditions you have upheld over the years continues

To the core of "bitters" that support you I would like to point out that what goes round, comes round

End :wai:
