There was a news item on Thai TV that an Australian (85 years old) is in police custody after a shooting in a village near Phayao. He tried to set fire to his house and the village boss tried to stop him. The boss was shot and killed. The TV showed pictures of him in a police cell. I have been unable to find anything on the web. The GF went to the market early this mornining and it was being talked about. It happened not far from our village.
