This man should most definitely not be allowed to legally carry a gun!

I still think he should have been convicted of the murder of Martin.

Deputies received a call from 27-year-old Samantha Scheibe around 12:30 p.m. Monday and when they responded to the home three minutes later, Zimmerman was there and was not armed.

As you say - three mminutes after the call deputies arrived at the scene and Zimmerman was NOT armed.

He is still awaiting trial, not convicted of any crime yet, so should be presumed innocent.

This man should most definitely not be allowed to legally carry a gun!

Strongly disagree.

He has the right to keep and bear arms - as many as he can afford to purchase - as guaranteed by our Constitution. Even while free on Bond for Felony Assault with a firearm. He hasn't been convicted of anything (yet), so he is "innocent".

Plus how else can we expect him to "stand his ground" and defend himself when he feels threatened?

BTW, he does need a street-cred name: how about GeeZ?
