Bamboo Flooring

I'm going to build a house. Thinking about puttting bamboo flooring down.Has anyone gone this route? The only thing I'm concerned about is chemicals used in the manufacturing process like formaldehyde etc.. Maybe something better out there? Thanks

I help to build a bamboo House. we used large bamboo,We cut them into three or four pieces lengthwise, to make planks. You have to be careful because the edges are like razors if not cut properly.
