...spen is giving more options and freedom while working with some applications

....

Cannot say I have found any use for this at all and find it rather superfluous! Great phone nevertheless.

Any ideas if Thailand would get a dual SIM version? Would be nice to have.

No idea about that.

But keep an eye on the China market. The S II 'Duo' was designed and sold in China, first.

yep, dual sim would be a handy addition

oops:

Speaking of China and dual-SIM devices, the previously reported dual-SIM version of the Galaxy Note 2 will be released for China Telecom customers on Saturday, November 24.

Thanks for that Noob

"Pricing information of the dual-SIM Galaxy Note 2 is not yet available, but rumor has it that it will cost 5,199 Yuan, or the equivalent of $835 USD."

$835 x 30 = 25,050bht

- wonder what the actual price was on Nov 24 - anyone know ?

I think, China is still waiting, too!

The S II Duo is out for over a year. In China. I saw it some weeks ago, the first time in a shop in Thailand.

Only to give you an idea, if the air asia 'more china flights' offensive can be an advantage for you wink.png

I'm still looking for information about this note 2 duo in Hongkong

yo, tks Noob ... if you find one let us know ... would prefer to buy in Thailand tho (when we finally get 'em) ...

(I may be going to HK soon too )

So looks more like Shanghai, not Hongkong, then:

"It looks like Samsung is already listing the Galaxy Note 2 with dual-SIM capabilities on its Chinese website, and the device is supposed to go on sale on December 3, not on November 24 as previously reported.

This Galaxy Note 2 model will only be available in China, as far as we can tell, so in case you absolutely want it, that’s where you’ll have to buy it from, for the time being."

"The dual-SIM model will reportedly retail in China early December. Samsung is yet to reveal details on pricing and availability in other countries. "

btw: Till the note 2 duo is available, I'm thinking about a new flip cover: S III left, Note 2 on the right. That will cover the 'Duo', too!giggle.gif

Can someone confirm if the note 2 has a 2 year local warranty if bought in thailand?

edit: also, the latest OS version is 4.1.2, (baseband, N7100DXDLK5, kernel 3.0.31-1071214, May 6th 18:20:59 KST, 2013)
