Roy Orbison - Crying

A great singer, the only one who was up there with Elvis. Elvis even discribed Roy Orbison as "the greatest singer in the world".

I'm sorry but this song does not seem to have a good melody, I know it is a popular song, but nowhere as good as "dream lover"

The Seekers - Just A closer Walk With Thee

I am not religious but what a fantastic voice Judith Durham has.

Yes, she certainly has, country singer George Jones does a great version of this song.

Jo Stafford - You Belong To Me

The best female singing voice I ever heard, and I'm a country music fan. Jo Stafford could sing anything.

The Browns - Three Bells

Yes, beautiful.

Billy Fury - Halfway to Paradise

Great stuff

John Leyton - Johnny Remember Me

Great, but could not follow it up

To Know Him Is To Love Him - Teddy Bears

This is beautiful, is this the only song they ever did?

The Rolling Stones - Walking the Dog

Good musically, but very poor vocally for a five piece band. No harmonies in this band at all, Mick Jagger, no singer, but a ggod showman. If you want to hear a band which was great vocally, instrumentally, and had great harmonies, I give you "The Byrds"

Normie Rowe - Ooh La La

Not being Australian, I actually remember this song from the sixties, very good, I wonder what happened to Normie Rowe.

Tom Jones - Green, Green Grass of Home

<iframe width="420" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/a5IABqwVO2U" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>

Great song, but I never liked Tom Jones, he had no originality at all. He was just a carbon copy of P J Proby, and not half as good.

Paul McCartney and Wings - Mull of Kintyre

Yes, I liked this, I actually sang it myself when it first came out, and I played in a Country and Western band.

Another version of this that tickles my fancy is from the Venice Beach Boys.

I have to admit that I am a fan of much of what the Rollingstones offered early in their carreer and in particular " Congratulations ".
