Where Do The Pro's Shop For Power Tools?

Featured Replies

Hello, I am setting up a small bike workshop. When I say small, I mean just me. I will be building bike frames and I need quality power tools that can handle every day use. I am looking for the following items; chop saw, power file, drill press, tube notcher, a small lathe, battery powered drill, a big vise etc.

I live near Pattaya but will travel to BKK if necessary. Ofcourse I am familiar with Home Pro and similar, but there must be a place where the pro's go?

Thanks for any suggestions.

Cheers, Todd

Makita ---- all the pro's use them ---- so do I.

In Udon there is a shop called Toolpro . I do not know they are anywhere else around Thailand , but they do sell the professional things you are wanting ( and more ) .

Buy a couple of those Thai motorbike magazines.

They always have big color ads of tool suppliers where all the small bike shops source there tools.

I have a work shop at home and I'm buying the top tools in BKK chinatown. All kind of quality tools and machines. But you'll have to look around because the fake tools sit next to the high end stuff....

For a lathe check the second hand machine dealers on OnNut Road area. Good luck
