hey you lot (photo persons) is this thread about holiday snaps and "our favourite" beaches or about how to take amazing pics? I have seen some interesting shots with camera magic, but how about some feed back on light, angles, effects and the WOW factor? I joined up here to get some expert tips , just want some feedback on making my snaps more appealing to friends and family that would may be like to view them or have a pic on the wall and some feed back on the post pics. You guys are so good ..please share ))):::

Hello bundycat,a big warm welcome to the forum from me also.

Like yourself I am still very new to this photo malarkey,but with the help of the good folk on this forum I am slowly but surely starting to improve.

If you are after help and advice then you have come to the right place.....maybe a good idea to open a thread for yourself,and ask away.

Also a better late than never welcome to the other new guys on the forum,cracking start to the New Year !!!

One small bit of advice on shooting beach scenes.

Try to always use a CP filter.

CP= Circular Polariser. Makes stuff look much better;

experiment! But be aware...a good CP isn't cheap

and cheap CP's are just that...cheap & P's O S.

Looking over to Jomtien from Ban am Phur, last week.

Whats better than a walk along the beach while the trucks having a service.

Topless is allowed in Thailand?

Topless is allowed in Thailand?

As far as I know, it's not allowed, but semi accepted / ignored on some tourist beaches.
