just a word of warning on the toshipa electric showers , bought mine 2 months ago and then the heating element packed up last week , well low and behold i have a 5 year warrenty on it so i called up toshiba in bangkok and was duely told that i would have to pay 1500 baht for the guy just to come out and another 1000 plus for the parts and labour to fix it as there will be no chance he will be carrying the parts with him that day , SO 2500 to fix a unit that has a so called warrenty on it when its only worth 4000 .

Just telling you so u dont waste your time with the upsale warrenty and the time consuming circus of thai customer service

I have a Toshiba heater. I don't think the warranty includes on-site service. Normally you would have to drop it off at a service center, where it will be repaired at no charge.

As it is only 2 months old you might be able to get the complete unit replaced at no cost, they credit you the amount it cost and then you pay the new amount. You will have a new warranty also. However you may have to take the unit to the dealer who you purchased it from. You will need the invoice for the original purchase.
