I can't speak for anantha92, but I believe legalization would take a lot of the baddies out of the controlling/abusive end of the business. same for legalizing drugs. There is always going to be allure for sex and drugs and guns and alcohol. You have to start somewhere if you want to solve anything, there are a lot of law abiding investors that would probably get into the industry as well. Not only that, the government can regulate and assure the workers security, as well as provide and enforce mandatory disease testing. The entire industry needs an overhaul it's still stuck in the 70's. It's about time Thailand embraces what they have known to be all around the world and embracing it is the first step to solving every single problem. I agree and one of them sounds like a potential auto erotic accident as well/ It's amazing how many posters on TV come out with incredible statements (usually negative and/or paranoid statements about Thailand or Thais) then when challanged they cite TV headlines as the source without even considering whether the stories behind the headlines support their theory or not.
